Ben Mitchell a student from Yeovil College rebrands Mixmania Records!
Sticking to our core value, which is to empower creators. We came up with the idea to get a student to design a new branding concept for Mixmania Records.
After a consultation with Adrian Ponter the area manager of creative industries at Yeovil College, we soon realized that this was going to be a lot of fun in getting the students involved in rebranding us, we could also see how this would benefit the students in getting some real life experience in designing and dealing with real clients.
We met up with the students, gave them a design brief with some of our ideas on what we were looking for, the students went through the design process and we gave them some constructive feedback on the designs they had created to help develop them further. We have been very impressed with all the students’ ideas and designs they came up with, showing us what we could be looking like which was very interesting to see.
We ended up choosing a design that Ben Mitchell had done, It is just right for us and exactly what we wanted. Ben is an extremely talented designer and comes across very professional to work with. We will look forward to working with Ben on future projects.
We plan to continue working with the graphic design students at Yeovil College and look forward to showcasing some of their work in the neer future.
